This is my personal website, which was built using the Pelican static site generator. Content was written using Markdown.
Overview
I did not need the functionality of a full blogging platform such as Wordpress, and given that I wanted to host the blog myself on a small VPS, using a static site generator seemed ideal.
Development is carried out locally in a Vagrant box running Ubuntu.
